Visualize World Peace…The more you are motivated by love, the more fearless and free your action will be…” His Holiness the Dalai Lama

Peace and well-being is the perpetual quest of all humanity.

We are living in a time when “Homeland Security” consumes much of our attention and resources, resulting in fear, mental fatigue and decreased well-being. Perhaps now is the time, for us to consider “Human Security” as our real goal.  Our hope, our goal, can only become reality in an environment where the quest to live in a state of compassionate, enduring health, is stronger than the desire to engage in the perceived benefits of shortsighted recklessness. Harmony is the real beginning of good health.

The World Health Organization defines health as “…a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”.  We define wellness as a state in which a healthy, mind, body and spirit may flourish!

We believe the earth has great healing power.  Learning how and why this is true can occupy much of a lifetime, and is only the beginning.

Horticultural Therapy is one of the oldest disciplines known, yet abundant environments emphasizing its benefits have been slow to emerge.  By utilizing plants and horticultural activities to improve physical, cognitive or psychosocial level functions we can certainly

“illuminate” our journey!

Combining horticultural therapy with the increased awareness of preventive health contributors to increase overall well-being is our Primary Goal.

Creating an environment in which ALL beings feel welcome, and can experience the benefits, regardless of their level of wellness is

our Plan!

Fund raising is a major part of our activities to make these gardens a reality.  Contributions of any amount are gratefully received.

We are looking for an appropriate location to develop these gardens.  If you have a parcel of land that you can envision as the a wellness garden, email us at The Wellness Gardens.

The Idea of healing gardens is both ancient and modern, however, throughout time, the benefits to those who created them, and to those who used them, remain INDISTINGUISHABLE!
